Enation Planning West Coast Tour - June-July 2012

We are currently planning a West Coast Tour for June-July, 2012. We are getting all the details in place right now, planning which cities, how long the tour will be, and which venues.

We will keep you up to speed as soon as more details fall into place. We are really looking forward to seeing many of you at our concerts!

God bless,

Transition

We wanted to let you know about a transition that has recently taken place. Due to creative differences that have arisen over the past year Enation has made the difficult decision that we will be moving forward without Michael and Luke as members of the band. This decision has not come about lightly  -- only after nearly a year of internal dialogues about creative and vision differences did it finally became clear to us that this was the path we needed to take moving forward. We love them very much and wish them nothing but the best. During our final discussion about this a few days ago we all expressed a desire to remain friends.

Jonathan, Richard Lee, and Daniel will continue as Enation, with no plans of finding new members.

We want to take this moment to say thank you to Michael and Luke for their contribution to Enation over the past several years. We have had many fun times together and will always be grateful for those. We hope that whatever their next endeavor is can be a fulfilling and exciting experience.

As for Enation, the three of us look forward to what lies ahead. We are excited about all the future projects that Enation has in the works. We are currently working on a West Coast tour for the summer and also have several musical projects in the works -- including our first ever full band production live LP (of which 'Live from Molly Malones' through PledgeMusic was the pre-cursor) and more. We look forward to more touring! More music releases! Special edition merchandise, and audio books from Jonathan.

These transitions will not impede the passion and commitment of Enation to make music and touch lives. We are grateful for the journey so far. We are grateful to Michael and Luke for the roles they have played.

We are also excited about what this transition means creatively for Enation as a "three-piece". We've always believed that working from one's limitations is what births the most creativity.

Thank you for your continued support. We will be sure to keep you informed of all of the exciting projects, tours, and endeavors that will be coming throughout this year and beyond.

God Bless,

Enation

Millions Will See Enation feat. on AOL Mail Front Page

Today millions of people will see Enation! The band is featured on the AOL Mail front page as one of the winners of the national AOL/About.Me competition.

The band Enation is featured on the splash page, as well as the 30 second promo video documenting the winner's trip to New York to see their billboard in Times Square. The ad featured Enation, their music, and their support of Not For Sale, which combats human-trafficking around the world.

The About.Me ad started with 'Enation... A premier indie band in America...' and went on to say... 'Our music is about rebellion. We rebel against modern-day slavery and child-trafficking. What do you rebel against?'

The photo of the band, which was featured on the ad, was taken by Lori Jane Photography.

The page is expected to get between 8-12 million views.

Reality in Textlandia

ROTFLOL. When have you ever seen anyone get a text, read it, and then laugh until they are rolling on the floor from laughing?

Let's get real about what's really going on. We need a small dose of reality in textlandia, don't you think?

*beep beep* *incoming message...

LOL = not really out loud, more like, in my head that was mildly amusing or at least I need you to believe I thought it was.

LMAO = actually my a*$ is still on, but that was actually funny, I may have actually made a noise or at the very least smiled. This is really what LOL should be.

ROTFLOL = No rolling on the floor, but people around me noticed that I got a text that was really freaking funny. I laughed to myself and most likely showed at least one person around me, who also laughed. Thus, when two or more people laugh at the same text it is essentially as if one person was rolling on the floor with laughter. (Unless of course your cousin just had those 'special brownies' he made in which case he may actually be on the floor laughing -- but he doesn't actually know why after a few minutes.)

Haha = I acknowledge that you were trying to be funny but may not have been.

Hahaha = Actually funny, maybe an inside joke.

Hahahahahaha + = You nailed it! That was funny with my sense of humor, who cares if anyone else got it, that was hilarious!

OMGLOLROTFLOLHAHAHAHA = You should be a writer for SNL or make short videos that make the world laugh.

What do you think? Leave a comment!

Enation is an indie-rock-band that has inside jokes that no one else would think is funny. If this post is one of them, we apologize in advance.
